you might as well just go somewhere like tirerack and check ot what they got.

or if you want something on the expensive side but light weight go with Volk. fromone of teh tuners... but my money is on teh replica cobraR rims

I did check out tirerack...but most of the rims there were kinda ugly..for my car..ihaven't checked out what other types are available...any idea how much the cobra rims cost he he...i don't mind spending my next salary on it.

Hey I went to 3sx and noticed some of the older 95 model 3000gts have the newer 98-99 front bumpers. I recall checking it out on a website once and apparently to change it with stock mitsubishi parts it costs about $2500 just for the parts. Any of you have this sort of conversion? Ofcourse the aftermarket fabrications are cheaper...but are they reliable? ANy of you know how to get a hold of one? Is it possible to DIY one of these? I mean the front bumper on the 98 3000gts and even the eclipses look way better than those made back in 95. Hmmmmm maybe i should invest in a new bumper

Any idea who does these sorta body work? please don't say Milwaukee Mopar again. ...i dread the thought of going a hundred miles for a mod ...hehe I don't think i'll ever find a good shop in chicago for anything for mycar...everybody that has good skills is always a thousand miles away.

The 97-98 bumper is a dirrect swap for the 94-96, and the bumper is around $500. Also for small mods anyone local can probably help you out.

good kill w/ the wrx, Dave! Just be careful with that rear pre-cat when you're drilling out the last section up top; it's real close to the o2 sensor. If Sanjay is with you, he'll know what I'm talking about.

best of luck...

Hmmm...I wonder why that website i looked at required you to change the hood and lights as well...I think it had some weird thing to do with the pipes and stuff that go through the grill of the newer bumper..But i probably don't know what i'm talking about . Thanks for all the info. Usually when most ppl do bumper swaps, do they have it resprayed or just swap out for the same color. Are these bumpers readily available in the market or do I have to call one of those used chop shops for parts. Also $500 for the bumper, what's the estimated labor cost....I read somewhere you could DIY because its clipped on? but i may be talkin through my ass again..

Anyways thanks for all the help

have you read thru some of the forum or done a search for information about bumper swaps? im sure someone has a detailed account of how their installation went... that might help more, and give you more leverage when it comes to getting a deal
