Met up with a few friends at Sound Performance in Bloomingdale yesterday afternoon to watch one of them dyno his '03 Cobra. He added a few goodies to it recently ( ported the S/C, smaller upper pulley, remapped chip of sorts = about 800 dollars worth of stuff ) and he wanted to see how it was now. Prior, he was 390ish at the wheels. Yesterday he did 501 rwhp / 485 rwtq. So, he picked up over 100 whp for only 800 bucks. Nice bang for the buck. He still has the small factory H exhaust pipe in, and his air/fuel needs a little smoothing out, but once those are addressed, should see a few more. Impressive numbers for so little. Those newer Cobra's take well to the right combo. As a side note, they had an assortment of cars there being worked on, so they have really expanded beyond just working on Supra's / Toyota's / Lexus' there. I saw a C4 Corvette / TT 300 ZX / '85ish RX7 / BMW M5 being worked on alongside some Supra's. One that caught my eye was a wicked looking black single T Supra whose plate read YU LOSE.

Go to Abt Electronics in Glenview on Milwaukee Road. Ask for Marc Cook. He runs the home audio/visual stuff. I grew up with the dude. He usually works 2 pm to 9pm.
He calls our cars "Penis mobiles". Tell him Pete said to "shut the fuck up and give me a deal". -Pete

Hey guys, got a quick question. Whats a good alignment shop in the chicagoland area? Preferably northside. I installed lowering springs on my Miata a while ago, but haven't gotten a chance to get an alignment done yet. I want to go to someone who knows what they are doing especially related to aftermarket parts.
thanks for the time, Nomie
