I donated in early 2003 via PayPal, and found that earlier this year PayPal sent a payment again without me initiating it. I'm mixed about donating because I'd like to be able to use this forum but yet it continues to suck and I also didn't like our thread being deleted too much. And then I was a bit put off that I got hit again without prior notice. I didn't know they could do that. I thought I had to authorize any payment out of PayPal. I let it go however hoping this site would get better.
Whaaa?!?! You have to authorize a Paypal payment! Hmmm... dat no sense make. I posted on the ChiCrew board and I'm still in for helping.

when you donate, the default option in paypal is to make a yearly donation, you have to change that if you dont want it to automaticly send payment.

Hey Jeff or any one I need alittle help here with some injector stuff. I got some Denso 660cc injecotrs from a guy and noticed a few things. First one of them on the end (the end where it goes in the manifold) has a crack in the plastic covering that covers the end. I don't think it will matter much that it has a crack cause its just a plastic cover, does it? Next thoughs plastic covers on the ends make the injector a little wider then the stockers or the RC 550cc's that I had in before. This made it really hard to get them in the little ruber gromets that the injector sits on in the manifold hole. So I used a little force and got every thing to fit but the gromets were expanded/streched alittle, will this cause any damage to any thing or make them leak form there? Lastly I also noticed that the Densos were a little longer on the top (where the fuel enters) and that they had to go into the fuel rail more. Wouldent this reduce the area on top of the injector and make kinda like a bottle neck in the fuel rail as well as make it harder for the fuel to enter the injector?

Expanding the rubber grommet where it enters the Manifold will actually seal better, not cause leaks.

As to the injector going in further than the 550s.... the fuel rail is larger than the pipes feeding, or draining it, the intention is to minimize the bernulli effect of fuel passing over the inlet to the injector, if the flow were rapidly flowing past the injector, you would draw a vacuum (like a venturi) when the injector opened, not force fuel out.

That said, since you really dont have significant flow across the inlet, wether the inlet is at the edge of the fuel rail, or a mm or two farther into the rail does not make a lot of difference in practical application.
