Niiiiiiice! Unfortunately the first gen ECU won't help me... you can rewire a 2nd gen to take that ECU but it's a pain and I'm #1 on a list of 110 for SHiVer's new bastard datalogger. If I had the $$$ I'd go with the AEM but alas... me poor.

Totally off topic but.. Does anyone have or know of any VR-4s in the chicagoland area that are for sale?? I've been looking out of luck for 2 years now. I've stumbled across numerous great opportunities but they always fall through at the last moment from powers I have no control over . I'm getting quite frustrated at looking for one. Please PM me if you know of anything.

Thanks
Dave

This thread has a topic?

Hey Dave, I don't have any leads but good luck and hope you find a good one. Have you tried www.autotrader.com ? I took a quick look and found a '96 and a '94 VR-4 when I searched 100 miles from my zipcode. You've gotta look close because neither of these sellers put VR4 or VR-4 in the title.

Yeah, I saw the 96 VR-4. I posted about it in the general section because I was weary that the asking price is only 11,900. I how ever didn't see the 94 one. I'll have to search that one up again. This is getting quite frustrating finding a good condition VR-4.

Edit: I just found the 94 you were speaking of. Gah!! thats got a lot of miles. Over 100k. I really don't want a high milege car. I have money to spend and willing to spend it on something with low low miles. Just no one wants to sell theirs

If the price is right i'll bring it in..if not i'll be forced to do it myself which will results in me hating this car

Thumbs up

WOW.

Who's dark blue 1997 or 1998 VR4(?) did I see this morning on Route 12 in Palatine / Deer Park ? Around 9:30 am.

It had a FRONT MOUNT and either a single exit SUPER DRAGGER or SINGLE SHOT exhaust on it . . young guy driving it, like late teens / early 20's . .

Looked really good. Anybody know this car, or is this one of you guys here and I dont know it ?
