LOL. Hey so out of curiousity, how much did it run you guys to get this Lasik surgery?

Anywho I was at Import Warz at GLD and I broke the Focus

After waiting in line for an hour and fifteen minutes to get a run(it was PACKED). I do a little baby burnout next to the box line up against a sprayin SS. He purges I purge. I get the quick R/T on his ass but spin like crazy through first and second LIGHTING them up through the sixty foot. The tires finally grip up top at about 5k RPMs and when I got to shift into third, NOTHING. I can't put it in any gear. I'm like "ohhhh fuck". So I coast the 1320 and finally rev match it into second gear. Pull into the pits. You smell clutch. It doesn't disengage fully. I was low on clutch fluid so maybe an air pocket got in there or something? Cuz I drive the car the clutch doesn't slip at all, just won't disengage fully. God I gotta put the Stealth back together TONIGHT.

Well I'm not healing as fast as I thought I would......still can't really drive unless it's around the corner. But I'm seeing the doctor at 7am....so I'll see what he says.

Mine was $2700.00 and that includes all pre-op visits, all post-op visits, and any more corrections they may have to make in the next year. It was definately expensive, but I hope it's gonna be worth it!

Hey Sanjay wered you get yours done at cause I was gona go in a week or two to get the info on that, any one recomend some place good?

Any way I got my last final on Wed an dmy Graduation is on Fri so that means we got to do some celebrating thursday night, any one up for some drinking?

I got mine done at Premier Eye Care in Buffalo Grove. Dr. Kiernan is definately one of the best opthamologists around.

You know I'm always up for drinking, but I just have to be real careful right now becuase my eyesight is not really up to par for me to drive after having a few drinks...can't really drive very much as it is right now....and because my eyesight was so bad before the surgery I get major nighttime glare right now....so I'll just have to wait and see how things go. Gonna go in to see the doctor tomorrow morning because my vision isn't as good as I hoped it would be by now....but he warned me that because my eyes were so bad beforehand that my 'healing process' would take longer than normal patients.....so I'm just going in to make sure everything is still looking good.

Actually I could use somedrinking now that I broke the Focus LOL. I went to WWE Raw tonight with my brother, got a little buzzed and had fun. Got home and put the Stealth together so I could drive something to work/school at the moment. Hopefully all I have to do is bleed the clutch system on the Focus. Hey Sanjay did you play with those capacitors on the computer yet?

Sanjay, you might want to think about NOT drinking until you're healed... I know, scary thought.

Alcohol definetly slows the healing process, thins the blood, etc. Get well then give 'em hell.

Ok, you know how when the doctor tells you all about the procedure and then asks, "so do you have any questions?" ?? guess what my ONE question was.....I asked him "so I can go out over the weekend and go out drinkin right?" he goes "sure, that's not gonna help or hurt your recovery, but don't be disappointed when you can't see all the girls clearly because you will be affected by glare." so

Went in, and the doctor said I'm progressing along just fine. But it'll take longer for the 'recovery' because of how near sighted I was. I'm hoping to come get the car on saturday, because I should be good by then....I hope. Andy is still trying to get the fluids from a shop here. worse comes worse I'll just bring some synchromesh with me and you can throw it in when I get there.

eyesight as of yesterday is 20/40 in right and 20/50 in left....so gettin better.....I thought the right eye was 20/30 but then the doctor told me to stop cheating and not to squint when trying to read the eye chart. lol
