Well, well, well.

Talk about old school.

Gentlemen, cyclones8 is the one that started this thread way back when, under the old name "Chicago/west suburbs. anyone looking for a car hang out ?".

Welcome back Len. You've got a VR4 now ? I seem to remember that you had a modified N/A back then . . . and just so you know, you responded to Jeff ( 440 4x4 ) and not Ahmed. Funny you should mention CSC ( as it is now called ), I will be seeing Edwin tonight. Ahmed's not attending though.

yeah SPEAKING of beotches... whats going on with your beotch? is she running yet? i still havent found my fuel leak... i started the VR4 after i installed teh LS-6 and teh MAFT and i smelled fuel after i shut her down and after a closer inspection i realized i am gonna have to check a bunch of stuff out. to even narrow it down. might be the injector lume or even teh filter... i dunno but it wasnt like this untill after i had the clutch installed so maybe something got wacked or loosened a little and it will be easy to diagnose... lots of stuff was removed.

later

thats why i said maybe something got bumbed! IM not pointing fingers or anything! i know i have set shit on top of things before and next thing i know my ECS is shot. or set something on top of my plenum and it slid doen and bumped a plug wire, and the car wasnt getting much spark to that plug.
but as far as anything getting removed NO WAY! all i was saying is i have to try to daignose something.... i wouldnt expect Jeff or Scott to have removed anything fuel related.

things i know;
1. a slight fuel smell while driveng and never a consistant intensity.
2. after the car was shut off and after running a little bit with 0's accross teh Board with the MAFT, it smelled like gas for a few minutes in my garage. and yes teh door was open. so it wasnt in the exhaust. it is coming from somewere inside teh engine bay...

my diagnosis ideas....
1. loose injector or the lume isnt plugged into the injector right, but if this were the case then i think the car wouldnt run very smooth. it runs smooth, no hesitation...
2. fuel rail isnt tight were the incoming line hits the lume.
3. fuel filter isnt fastened correctly either. after that im all out oif ideas!

Sanjay do you have any ideas? Jeff how bout you?
