Hey do you guys know of any good mechanics who are maybe experienced with our cars around the schuamburg area and doesnt charge a lot of money?

I want to do my 120,000 mile early because my water pump is leaking a lot of coolent. I wouldnt mind doing it myself but I have no place to do it at. I already ordered all the parts I need.

Also, does anyone know who drives a red 3000gt base or sl in palatine? see this person drive on palatine rd a lot.

take your 120K stuff and bring it up to Jim and Jeff....drive up north to save some money and get that shit done right

Havent heard of anything like that ( I work here in Palatine). If there is a new shop that opened that 'specializes' in these cars, you would think that they would be on here tooting their horn by now. It might just be some new shop that works on all cars, and maybe they put a Viper alarm in a base model Stealth recently . . thats how rumors get started

The shops called one six. ive been there a couple of times and it seems good. my friend bought an exhaust from them for his wrx and it sounds good. but basicly its like any other shop, they sell and install parts. dont know about prices. location- take central east and make a left at that old 3 com building(i think its a bosch now) and its like half a mile down on the right. its next to some skateboard store. its not specialized tho.

They're right next to Garage Kwai (another import shop). They don't specialize in 3/S though...
