i was in dekalb all last week...didnt post because like Mark.......i was in the garage pretty much all last week.

replaced balljoints on my car....did plugs.......seafoamed the bitch...drivetrain fluid change.......oil change......replaced a few hoses here and there.

then did brakes on two different cars (rotors, pads, bleed) that are older than dirt (91 accord and 92 camry) that belong to friends back home and man nothing like 13-14 years of midwestern rust to make your day....

on a sidenote....picked up a Dewalt 1/2 inch electric impact gun........this thing kicks ass! 250+ ft-lbs of tq and made life a hell of a lot easier

i'll be back in town later this month.......i really want to hit the track .now that the damn car is running better (i.e no more spark blow out from fouled ass plugs)

Hey guys; who can I have put on my new sway bars (Addco) that won't charge me an assload for it? How much will it cost or how many hours for the front and rear to be installed?

By the way, does anybody have the 3SX krankvent? It supposedly helps the seals to seal better and/or reduce and eliminate smoking and blow-by caused from the leaky seals. My car doesn't smoke often, but it does occasionally after pulling out of the driveway or at high RPM's. It's only $150 what should I do? (The smoke is usually a purple/blue color;oil)

Just grab a wrench. The front is pretty easy to get off but come to think of it I've never checked out the rear.

I've talked to Eric at 3SX and he said it took him about 2 hours for the front (along with a few swear words and bloody knuckles) and the rear was a lot easier, it took about less than an hour.

It'll take about 3-4 hours to do them both. I did a set last fall in about 3 1/2 hours. The only problem were stuck bolts from the 10 years being a WI car.

Jackie,

I suppose I'll be the first to say call Jeff in Milwaukee to install the sway bars. I HIGHLY doubt anyone can do it faster or better than him, and he won't charge u an arm or a leg. Yes, it is an hour drive from here, but WELL worth it. What I would suggest (from past experience with MY car) is that you should get all new bolts/nuts/washers to install the sway bars JUST in case some of them are rusted frozen or what not. Trust me it SUCKS ASS to have this happen, and new bolts/nuts are a GREAT help just in case you have to crack off the old ones.

OK sounds good, but where is Jeff in Milwaukee? How do I get there, how much does he charge an hour, and who wants to come with me? I'm not about to go and get myself lost in Wisconsin!!
