Details: Getting on a major 6 lane highway, I'm following a black Z06 up the on ramp. I note the 4 LARGE oval exhaust tips ( not the stock exhaust ) that is very loud, that the car is lowered, and that it has some sort of racing team / tuner shop slogan at the bottom of the back/rear window. It had the requisite badges on the fenders, but I couldnt make them out. hmmm. He gooses it up the ramp a little and I hear him bark second and let off. We get up on the highway, I slowly pass him, he speeds up and matched my speed. He looks over and nods. I'm in 3rd gear at 4800/4900 by this time and holding. I do a short goose and let off, letting the blow off value sing a little. He comes up next to me and I hear him downshift so I stand on it ( yeah, yeah I know, shoulda did the 3 honks but I was not wanting to miss the opportunity and wasnt thinking ). I jump ahead by probably half a car or so ( he was completely out of view of my passenger side window ) until I have to shift into 4th at 6700. He comes by me ( pipes SINGING ) on my shift and continues to pull until he has to shift and I then match / hold my ground. By then though, I'm down by the car / car and a half. I seemed to hold that distance until I reached about 5500 rpm and it looked like he inched up / open up the gap a little more. I looked down and at 6500 I was going to shift but we had to let up/off because of upcoming traffic.

I roll my window down and give him the out the window and he returns it with a large smile. He was a young(er) guy with glasses.
nice run, Jamie! You sure you have stock turbos in your Yellow Stealth?!! Cuz it pulls MAD !!!!

Also guy I was thinking we could make some Chicago 3S/Northern Ill or what ever banners for our cars for the NG. What do you think?

Hey if you guys want some banners made, I have the hookup, my friend has the machine that makes them. If you really want them, show me how you want them to look and ill have them made. He shouldn't charge much at all, good friends..

Also, whats the plan for the 4th of july weekend? Are you guys going to cruise anywhere or what? When are most of you guys leaving for the ng? Wednesday or Friday? My friends and I are leaving friday, it would be great to go with some fellow 3/s'ers.

Thanks Nomie !

I'm blessed that this car runs as strong as it does with peashooters and 360's. The low mileage of the powertrain and the 100 octane that I run 24/7 definately helps though. Might be time for some DR heads and some bigger dryers though, we'll see

Need a quick hand, could someone with 2nd Gen TT brakes go out and look at the placement of the bleeds? Common sence tells me that they should be at the top to get rid of air, but I really don't want to put these bad boys on backwards.

Thanks
