Amen to making it a leisurely drive, not a freakin' dead assed sprint!

I however disagree with Ro, I think it worked out MUCH better last year when we met up somewhere OUTSIDE the congested traffic area and drove from there... two years ago, driving through the traffic for the first hour powerfully SUCKED!

I recommend that anyone who likes traffic can join Ro at hooters, and the rest of us will pick a nice rest area or truck stop where we can wait for them

I've already asked someone if they want to drive the N/A, if they bag out, anyone interested in taking it - must be RESPONSIBLE, and over 21.

WTF is up with the Casino? i am thinking that no one wants to go and I for one just wanted to see some friendly faces! soooo whats going on? Scott looks like he might have a few people up at the Hooters in Vernon hills, who else is going? and how do we get a hold of everyone? thanks

I'm leaving at 2-2:30 that way I can be there a little bit before the awards are given and stuff. But if you plan on entering you need to be there between 9-12 I think...

Wes called me and asked if I was going and if so when but when I called back i couldn't get ahold of him. So, maybe just do a drive from one of our places?

I also like the schamburg idea, too. This year I'll actually have my car going down. Hoping to get atleast a half dozen from Milwaukee coming down with me on Wed. Hopefully we can all stay together and enjoy the ride.

No pun intended, but hooters was a bust. The City of vernon hills refused to give them a permit, and threatened to have the police out fining everyone if they proceeded with the car show. About 5 cars showed up. This guy in a 'vette was giving the girls rides in his oh so fast car.... I just had to chuckle
