Well, that was a terrible remark, I guess I got caught up in the heat of things. I don't really feel that way. Just got angry.

None of the above would happen at Empress, theirs no place to go fast, and you never stop hard in their valet lot, you have to know what the brakes are like and a lot of times they suck. You brake very early for anything (like when pulling into a spot behind another car), if you hit anything in valet, you're fired. You could have been there 8 years, you hit something, you're fired. There would be no fast turning either, since you can't go fast anywhere, hehe. Well, I suppose the clutch thing could happen if someone didn't know how to drive that well, another reason not to park valet though is if you have a stick shift car, some people when they apply say they can drive stick to get the job, but they can't. They might "learn" on your vehicle. Not a good practice but it's what happens.

Anyways, I see your point, and I was a bit arrogant sounding. I'm sure everywhere is not like Empress, but Harrah's is much much worse. Most people who worked at Empress worked at Harrah's before. Bad stories. Casino Valet in general is going to be awful.. Other places you valet your car at are probably much better, atleast I hope. The people you deal with at the casinos during the day, they are complete assholes. Doesn't justify anything, but at the very least, it turns you into a cold person after your 3rd month there. Doesn't matter if you're valeting, serving, sweeping the floors.

Did someone hint at unique paint ?

I was in New York this past weekend doing the New York City Poker Run that attracts 175+ boats. Below are some photos of some of the hardware that was there, and some of guys dropped 50G just on paint. The detail on some of them is stunning. The run was filmed by ESPN2 and SpeedVision, amongst others. We were on a blue/white catamaran called 'Chi-Town Hustler' with twin 900 horsepower each blower motors, but there was an assortment of power there . . . some with twin 1450's and one had twin turbines ( appropriately called Jet Set ) that is a 200 mph pleasure boat.

Enjoy.

I like the idea of meeting up in schaumberg at the hooters then taking off together from there.

and a caravan.........not a dead damn sprint across teh border like the first NG

Joelet have one kinda like the caravan we had last year...remember...Tyler blocking traffic so we all could get across..shit like that...actually sticking together as a group
