Anyone in IL do TT swap?

Has anyone in IL done a TT swap? If so would you mind showing a noobie the ropes.

I've been reading the specs on the 6g72 TT and the TT conversion and I know a few other members in Chicago3S are very interested in the procedure as well.

The write-ups are top notch, don't get me wrong, but there's nothing better than first hand experience. So if anyone has had the opportunity to do this procedure, please chime in, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if you would be willing to lend your infinite knowledge to one who will hopefully join your ranks this summer, I would be eternally grateful

Ahh ic, you just have to talk to him, hes awesome from what i hear. I'm taking the 99 up there for my 60k in a month or two.

Hopefully someones got his number, otherwise ill have to call a few people.

jeff did my tt swap, did a great job.for a good price. but to be honest, Its not hard, I just didnt have the guts to do it. Most of it is bolt on stuff, then some wiring/cutting. + you learn more, If you get a new motor you can just do most of the job with the motor out. Then you can spend the labor money on some nice parts for the tt.

I'm buying a used motor straight out of a Stealth tt. Has all wiring and such. Unfortunately all the hoses and stuff are in a box and not attached. Plus i still have to buy turbos for it.

What exactly do you mean by new motor? Like new from a used car or like NEW.

Like not rebuilding your shortblock with a Spun bearing. by hoses do you mean ic piping?
you can find 9b's on this forum like cake. And like I said, I can give you a hand, ill bring over my tt, if we get stuck for some reason, just check out my car lol.
