Hows infineon for speed traps cause ill just trailer my car if i have too.

The track isn't open late enough. Hell, if we wanted to spend money, we could just go over to RPM cart racing track and have fun... expensive fun.

Dont Make Me Lose My Mind

The places where the street racers go is in the industrial areas of W. Sac, N. Sac and the whole NE area (Citris Heights, Roseville, Rocklin). There are a few places in Elk Grove that the street racers go but for the most part, the industrial area that I pointed out has no one there at night. There are not many good roads for anyone to set up a race so the street racers go elsewhere.
If we meet at a mall, then you get security guards. If we meet at a restuant, then we will have to eat there or the manager will kick us out. Meeting IN a restuant like a Denny's or Lyons isn't bad but then a good number of us have to buy something every week. I am not against that since I have done that with other groups. Since we only meet for 2-3 hours it might actually work. The downside is that we will be talking about car but won't be around our cars. We could meet at someone's house. There would be no cops, no buying things and no security guards. There might be annoyed neighbors. The downside is for the person hosting since there will be strangers coming to their home. Maybe a spot could be found out in BFE somewhere. The downside would be no lights and no resterants or other convientes near by. Probably the best thing to do is to discuss some sites and then spend one saturday night driving to all of them to figure out which one everyone likes.

I was too lazy to read a few pages back, but what type of meeting place is everyone trying to figure out? I'm a manager at a restaurant in Cameron Park and we'd be cool to have a meet at the restaurant. Heck, there's even a full conference room/private party room upstairs. We've got a patio, bar, and dining floor. It's not exactly in the middle of a happening city, but then again I can get discounts and the cops aren't dicks here.
(it's a short distance from any real city action but then again you guys said you mostly stand around and talk about cars anyways. It's probably more of a win situation for me since it's only 5 min from my house and it's free promotion for the restaurant but I thought I'd present the option Just let me know in advance if you wanna try it.)

Who else is up to trying this? Perhaps since Lancelot is a manager we could work out a deal for food discounts - Haha! Which restaurant? |

It's Hemalayas, a fine indian restaurant. It's good food unless you don't like that kind of stuff. I could probably get a group discount of about 15% but I'll have to speak with the owner as well. I'd have to find out how many people would be coming first. Anyways, just keep me updated if we really wanna do it.
Demisaturn2000 - is that the HKS VR4 that was for sale a while back? Kinda looks like the same paint job. |
