I think sac would be better cause Galt is like a 45 minutes drive from Roseville, and some of the people live farther away then Roseville.

Sears Point is quite a drive for those not on the Coast (Trust me, I used to spend every wednesday night there.) We could always try something in Rancho Cordova - It would be close enough for the Stocton types to make it, and not TOO far out of the way for those of us from the Roseville/Rocklin/Auburn areas (if you take the right route.) Bill is the expert of that area, so if he has any suggestions, then fire away.

PS: Wine is yummy

We wouldn't be bothered if we met in the indistrial area just south of Rosemont. There are lots of bit empty parking lots on a saturday night. Ideally, we could pick a spot that isn't too far away from a 24 hour resturant. The S Watt/Fruitridge intersection has a lot of possibilities.

We could also pick a spot in the junk yard area of South Sunrise.

That works for me, but from what i remember when i was in highschool is those industrial type spots were big street racing areas, and even though we wouldn't be, I would want people to see us, stereotype us, and call popo on us.

I think there's a decent amount of police activity because of that, too.

Also, isn't that area more or less the opposite of say Granite Bay? I am not looking for a nice area to meet, but I would rather meet in a place where artillery isn't required for one's safety. It is so hard to tote a Howitzer around after all. LOL

Seriously though, I agree with 3000 drooler - we should avoid areas that are known for street racing etc. We don't want to attract unwanted / undue negative attention.

Artillery? hahahahaha. But really, would be nice to meet where street racing isn't. How many FWD burnoputs would happen there?

Exactly, I know everyone wants to have a meet closer to home, but given the fact that Sacramento County as a whole, and especially the City is a mecca for targeting import/fast looking cars, we should stay away their revenue trap. Soon as their so-called DRAGNET program funding runs out, we should see a decline in profiling.

You should see the postcards I bought at Walgreens in each city!
