Default Saturday nights...

***NEW LOCATION!!!***

We will now be meeting in the Raley's shopping center, to the side of Raley's and in front of Borders Books, at the Del Paso Rd and Natomas BLVD/Arco Arena Blvd intersection.

The Subaru and DSM guys like to meet around 7:00-7:30 pm, but I am usually too busy to show that early. I will most likely show up around the usual time, 9:30-10:00 pm; if I don't have anything more pressing, I may be there earlier.

Directions:

If you are heading West on I80, exit on Truxel (next exit after Northgate), and turn right (North). Keep going straight, Truxel will turn into Arco Arena BLVD and then into Natomas BLVD.

If you are heading East on I80, take I5 North and exit on Del Paso Rd, turning right (East). Turn left (North) onto Natomas BLVD.

If you are coming South on I5, exit on Del Paso Rd, turn left (East). Turn left (North) on to Natomas BLVD.

Now that everyone is on the same street, and headed in the same direction; the next signal is the entrance to the shopping center, turn right (East) into the parking lot. Use the maps below to find your way.

**Note: This is a Subaru/DSM/3S meet, and open to most anything else, but we do not tolerate stupid behavior; if you can not conduct yourself in a mature and proper manner, you will be asked to leave.**

Yeah, I'm sorry that people flaked out

About the shop, tell them fuck no! It needs all new bearings, the crank needs to be checked, rods need to be checked and all oil lines/coolers need to be replaced or thoroughly flushed... basically ripped apart and built back up.

I would really suggest you post about this in general... If people start being dicks, I'll come in and give you a hand

Heh, at least you were able to get a warranty.

When I bought my car, no warranty company would warranty it (I tried several dozen) because it had 65k miles when I bought it and because of the make/model.

Heh, i dunno, warrenty didnt care how many miles were on it really. I got it at a dealership though, not a private party. I would have driven it to Auburn, but alas, that was a no go. Also i might be shipping that engine to Em and Hans back east since they can do it cheaper than here.

Hey I just posted a norcal meet in the mini gatherings section. We should organize a large 3s meet somewhere in Norcal or in the valley or somewhere.
I know of a few that I could get to come. Look under toulomne county in mini gatherings section to see some of our mini small meet.

David, good to hear from you. I tried calling you last Saturday, but your phone seems to be disconnected again. What's wrong with the car now?

Darwin, so if you ship it to Hans, will the waranty company pay for all of it?

BlakeVR4, thanks for the info, I'll check it out as soon as I'm done writing this post.
A nice meet where we can get a bunch of people together sounds good.

Just FYI, Teddy will be having a get together at his house in Febuary, he lives in Tracy, so it's not too far from anybody except -DLS-... and he might be showing, so no excuses!

No, i am going to sue the warrenty company because they are shafting me and i wont stand for it. I took plenty of slack and time waiting for this, but i am extremely pissed now.

As far as going places, I will see what I can do to get around and what not. If i don't get my car back by the start of Feb i will show up in a VW bug or 4runner, most likely the bug.
