My 92 TT is currently not rolling and I cant figure out the problem. I didnt really want to post but after not finding a similar situation as mine, I figured I would give it a shot. It barely moves and has a lot of resistance while moving forward...it seems like the tires are almost dragging on the ground to move. It locked up on me originally while I was driving going about 40mph and judging by the tire marks it seems like either the front pair or the rear pair were the ones that locked up. Anyways if anyone can help me out on this that would be great. I dont really know the car very well but I have the manuals available and am able to get the tools needed. I have a big enough garage to work in as well. So anyone up to help me out atleast to diagnose whats going on would be awesome. I can pay for your time or hook you up with food and beer whatever I just want to get rolling again. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like your transfer case locked up; this is a very common issue and there is a recall for this.
I recommend that you reigister on www.SoCal3S.com, if you haven't already, and see if one of the local guys can help you out. If your T-Case did fail, you will need to get it to a dealership so that it can be repaired under the recall.
