Wow, were in our 3rd year since this site reopened. Exciting isn't it? I know I’m posting this a little too soon but It’s just been so long since there has been a meet. I also will be finishing up to get my BA so I’m not as free as I used to be. I can no longer make my own schedule. How do you guys feel about moving the BBQ meet @ Folsom Lake to May? I know we do it around April but I wanted to move it a little later because the Semester ends mid May. Plus, with this, we can actually jump into the lake without freezing our asses off. I hope this is better because it gives people A LOT of time in advance to get ready for the meet by posting this. If you guys didn’t know, my name is Edvis. I no longer live in NorCal but the meet that is thrown every year around late March early April has turned in a big one. That’s why I have decided to throw it every year. The first time this was thrown we had 13 cars show up. The 2nd year it was thrown we had 21 cars show up and a shitload of people to party and kick it with. The banner on top of Norcal is the picture taken from the 2nd Folsom Lake meet. It only shows 20 cars but there was 21 there. I’m hoping each year this event will get bigger and bigger. I never posted this meet on Socal before but I’m going to see if even Socal can come up for this one. I want to thank the bay area peeps who come to this meet. They always come through and I’m very happy about that. Without the bay area people, this meet wouldn’t be big.
The BBQ is free of course. Just bring you 3S or any other great looking car along, an empty stomach, I believe the parking is still 8 dollars, and be ready to meet a whole lot of people. Here’s a few links of last year’s event.

May 23rd is the day of the BBQ! Cruise starts at 12pm and should arrive at the lake by 1pm. You don't have to come for the cruise but you will miss out.
Like every year, we have been having a short cruise to the Lake. I’m going to go ahead and set the cruise at starting location in Race Place Motorsports (RPM). It’s right off I50. Here’s the addy,

- CB Radios
- An empty belly

- Ice
- Coolers
The meet will start at 11am in the afternoon. We'll meet at RPM at Bradshaw and then cruse out to the lake after everyone meets up at RPM. We'll be leaving there at 12.00pm. We should arive at the lake around 1pm. The place will be the same, Beals Point.

This year, I’m hoping for a bigger turnout. I’m hoping for 25 or more cars. We had 21 last year so that shouldn’t be a problem. I’m crossing my fingers. At Beals Point, Folsom Lake, theres a bunch of camp sites and plenty of hotels and motels around. We can camp over Friday night and then have the BBQ Saturday afternoon or we can just have a hotel party on Saturday nite.
