Default pulse generator?

While trying to clean up some wires around the trans. I broke a wire by mistake that I think is connected to the one or two pulse generators....

I noticed after this mistake that the trans shifts better and actually shifts to third. I had feared that my trans was in safe mode for awhile as third gear would not shift.

any thoughts?? should I rewire it?

Default Re: pulse generator?

Well, if your car shifts better now and actually goes into third now, I don't see why you should fix it. But I am no expert. If it was me I would probably leave it and just monitor it closely.
