Sent you a PM.
I recently came across a trans with the same number as the one you have. F4a33 MN01. Did your trans come from a SOHC / Base car or a DOHC 24 Valve car?? I, (Like you am trying to figure out the numbers on the trans.) It seems like the ones I'm seeing from the SOHC cars have codes more like your number. The one in my stock 98 3KGT SL just says F4A33 EVS I see many with codes like mine.. The F4A33 stays the same and the Letters change. - I've only been looking at DOHC cars as I've been told that the trans from a SOHC car won't work. Just wondering if your trans is from an SOHC or DOHC car. Maybe some info I have here may help us both out. |

Your car is a 92 SL. If I remember correctly you will need a 91 or 92 sl atx. In 93 the axle diameter increased. So if you get a 93+, you can use it but you would also need the larger axles. Also, the shift selector on the transaxle is different in 91-92 as compared to 93+.
I believe the SOHC atx's are different from the DOHC's. I know the 92's are definately different.
