Cool ATX fluid change.. type?

Ok everyone... I know this has probably been asked before but when I do a search, cant seem to find the answer..

Going to change the ATX fluid... I know I can get DIamond brand but what else can I use.?

has anyone ever used the B&M Trick Shift fluid from JEGS?

I hope to install my trans shift kit upgrade soon...

Advice please!

thanks
Brian

Do NOT put that B&M crap in a modern trans...

The best and most available fluid for what you're doing would be the Chrysler ATF+4. It's a synthetic base stock, with basically the same friction properties as the Diamond SPIII

i've been using valvoline atf+4 full synthetic. haven't had any issues, to my knowledge. the 2ndary filter keeps it as pink as it went in.

on an unrelated note, however--i do occasionally have a bit of notchiness when it downshifts under medium deceleration. only rarely noticible. i'm thinking it's my TCU.

well, castrol has decent oil, so i thought i'd give it a try...

after getting some surprise buttsecks with a $3,800 rebuild bill, i now change my tranny fluid every 15,000 miles to be safe...

whoda fuckin thunk it, that castrol's atf would be so shitty...

$3800? holy shit! mine was $2500 w/ the 2ndary filter install & tranny cooler. i actually didn't know where to take it BUT aamco. they actually did a nice job. 50k+ miles and counting.

and yes, i change mine at 15k. no reason to--but it gives me warm fuzzies.
