IMPORTANT NOTICE:
As of Oct 15, 2006 anyone that wants to post sales in the classified section will have your contact information "verified" by the classifieds section moderation team.

You will have to request verification (details below).

To be verified you will have to provide.

1) Full Name
2) Home Address
3) Home & Cell Phone Numbers
4) Date of birth
5) If you are under 18 we will need contact information on your parent so we can get their authorization.

If you live with your parents or someone else we will also need their Name.
If a you represent a shop, the info would be required for both the person and the business.

#1-4 Must be placed in your profile. This information must remain in your profile or your access will be removed.

To request verification:
1) Make sure you logged in with the "Remember Me Option Checked
2) Click here Request Verification
3) Check "Join Group" on the "Verified Seller" group.
4) Click the [Join Group] button. This will take you to a new page.
5) Fill in the request reason
6) Click the [Send Request] button.

The classifieds moderators will review your request and PM you if they need information. Please give them at least 48 hours to respond to your request.


ANYONE caught trying to sell in another users sale thread will have ALL access to the classifieds forum removed.

Allowing someone else to use your ID to post sales can result in the loss of your verified status or you can be banned from the classifieds forums completely.

Only verified sellers can reply in the parts wanted forum.

1. Links to eBay auctions are OK in this forum provided the following guidelines are followed:
   The thread heading or subject line must clearly state it concerns an eBay auction. Subject line should look something like this:*
   1999 Black 3000GT SL On E-bay
   Set of 1995 SL Seats on E-bay
2. Firearms or related items are not allowed to be offered on this site. In order to protect this site from Federal problems we cannot allow the selling, trading, or buying of any gun or weapon related items.
3. No harrassing the sellers. If you think the price is too much just move on.*
   Harrassing a seller about their asking price can get your account suspended.*
4. If you think someone is trying to rip someone off report the post and let the moderators handle it.*
5. Include the item description and price in the title.
6. *You may only have one active thread offering the same product or service at a time.*
7. You may not advertise a competing product in another person's thread.
8. Spam for "free i-pod" etc are not classifieds, and are not to be posted anywhere.
9. If any item requires freight shipping, the location of the item must be included in the post.
10. You are selling something, so subscribe to and monitor your post.
11. If you are selling a car please include the following in your posts title.
    Year
    Model
    location
    Price*
    mileage(if their is room)
    
    For example:
    
    98 3000GT SL Atlanta,GA $10.000 99k
    I'm sure this will make it easier for you to sell your car.

Group buys-
Group buys must state if this is an offering by the product vendor/manufacturer, or a member trying to start a buy, in the original

New rules added to existing list on 12/14/08 by Classified Moderator

1. we expect delivery to occur within two weeks of the transaction date.
2. Moderators will normally not get involved till 30 days has passed from the date funds were transferred.
3. All sales should include a tracking number, if using a trackable shipping method costs more, the cost should be negotiated between buyer/seller
4. Small items with values less than 40.00 are exempt from higher cost shipping methods.
5. All sales SHOULD include insurance, but can be negotiated out by the buyer. Anything electronic should be insured, anything breakable should be insured.
6. A confirmation must be made in the thread who the part was sold to, and its expected shipping date.
7. Sellers must respond to PM's or emails within a reasonable time frame (3 days) until parts are received. Once receipt is made and confirmed contact can stop.
8. REFUNDS are not mandatory on sales here, we expect sellers to back the quality of the item represented in photos, but if the item was accurately described, no refund is mandated if a buyer isn't satisfied.
9. Anyone employed by a shop/business that sells on 3SI must state in the sale that if the sale item is personal or business. Email/paypal from that business can not be used for personal sales. Breaking this rule will be subject to immediate removal from the classifieds section with no warnings.
10. No 3rd PARTY sales allowed in the classifieds, all parts have to be in possession of the seller, all payments to the seller have to go to the person listed as the original post maker, all disputes have to be resolved by the person listing the advertisement.
