Ok guys, As promised i have finished my set up. Works amasing, about to get the MUTII logging software for it. Let me know what you guys think. Sorry for some of the quality on the pics, i took these on the run.

Next step is under the hood, cleaning cleanign cleaning. And trying to get my steering wheel reapholstered.

got any pics of the pc actually installed? where'd you put it? looks a little bigger than i was expecting. nice job on the LCD install tho. very clean. i'm looking into getting one of these to put in as well. are you going to do a write-up on it?

hey, nice job on the install. I have a few ?'s though. How did you rig up the power supply? What are the specs on the board that your running? I am assuming that is a tough screen lcd correct? How did you wire the computer to your in car speakers or didn't you?

check out the first pic in my second post.

the install is very easy...

Things needed. Zenarc touchscreen, Mini itx motherboard, M2 power supply(160 watts), hard drive, wiring, GPS reciever.

1. All you neeed is power going from the + to the powersupply (with a 35 amp fuse)

2. Tap in to the ACC wire behind the stock head unit,

3. Ground

4. The rest is just like hooking up your PC at home. (pluging in cables)

Thanks dude!

The M2 power supply is a an automotive computer powersupply

the board is a mini ITX you can get one anywhere... http://www.mini-itx.com/store/?c=2


As for the sound, as you can see I have the stock unit in the back, i just connected in to the AUX of the stock radio 3.5 mm input.

Gotcha, not bad. I build computers for a living an was always curious as to what types of setups are best for car installs as I have never attempted this. Nice job once again and I will be surely looking into this setup for a possible thing to try this winter as I have a computer graveyard in my house and i now for sure I have all the parts needed just need the time to do it.

If you get all the parts. (the parts that i used) I can do the install in 2 hours.
