Question Sub Help

I'm still not sure if getting 2 10 kicker or one single 12 kicker

For the 2 10 kicker I would get the sub enclousure that fit perfectly behind the seats ( The total air space is aprox. 1.1, with no dividers)

But If I get the 12 sub I would get the corner sub box... (.95 cu ft)
Please anwser me fast I don't want the enclousure to be sold ...

I'm open to listen to opinions.. thankkks and excuse my english

hmm, while i have never heard subs in the box that fits behind the seat i and fairly sure that a single 12 in the corner would sound better then the 2 10 setup stated. U can get alot out of a single 12 in the corner location. but remember to sound proof the trunk...nothing (imo) sounds worse then a rattling trunk...

Remember if you have no divider to use a series setup for the subs so you dont get mixed sound waves. 1 10" is more then enough but I think you need at least .7 for each sub. I guess they all vary. I built my own rear box to meet the demand for space for my 2 10" and walled them off in the center.

I decided to buy the corner sub.. the box have .95 cubic feet and the suggested cubic feet for the 12 kicker is Sealed box volume: 1.0-4.6 cu. ft... is .95 enough for the sub ?

.05 cubic feet won't really be an issue...but you'll be looking at less internal volume than that. The sub basket and part of the cone will take up a chunk of the internal volume as well. If you have room to reverse mount the sub, that would probably be your best option.

WTH are you taking about? The way that you worded that it sounds like you are talking about series and parallel wiring the subs. The only thing that matters it to make sure that both speakers are running mono when there is no divider. It could even be two amps.

As long as:

They are the same amp
Dialed in to output the same wattage
Both amps are receiving the same mono signal

Wiring the subs in series and parallel only effect the ohm load of the amp, not whether or not the sub box has a divider.

IF I miss-understood what you meant I apologize in advance. But if you where implying that enclosures with or without dividers dictates the series / parallel wiring required for the sub then, I must raise the mast.
