Default Sub Box

Is anyone making this sub box?? I know its probably not ideal...but I want the space of my trunk still. I just want to add bass, but I am not looking at anything over the top etc.

I love the look of this box, and the functionality of the trunk. Anyone making these? Just curious before I go to my local shop and have them build me one.

Thanks,
MDB

doesn't look to hard to make, just contruct a shallow box that fits in that little cut out area and take some cardboard to make a templet for the front face of the box. It will cost you like 20 bucks, for the materials and an hour or so. maybe i'll start making and selling them

It would be very difficult to design a box that fits like that one and has the subs face the seats, you don't want the woofer to strike the seat back when it plays. Not to mention the sound muffling you would experience. You could however make a ported design that takes up a little more space and goes further back. That should give more airspace to have the woofers clear the seat and still provide a fair amount of unmuffled sound.

I built a corner box for a single 12. That still leaves me plenty of room for cargo and I can still fold my back seat down for longer stuff.

OP, without seeing the back seats in the car, I'd wonder if it's just a standard dual sub box that he removed the rear seats and threw in there. The rear seats are mostly decorative anyway.

Making a box like that should be pretty easy.

I've got a 10" corner sub box by SmokinVR4 I'd let go depending where you're at. Don't really wanna ship it.

this design isnt very good guys. It is VERY mimited on speakers depth and if you have a high excursion subwoofer the suround actually hit the false floor portion on the step. They were an ebay box. Im building a customer something else after he bought it

I know its not a very good box. I really just don't want to take up a lot of space. I will see what my shop can do, to go along the lines of something similar....but maybe not exact. I don't want award winning bass....but I don't want something that sounds like crap either.
