Default Need some advice for my stereo system setup

Got a 94 3kgt and I'm in the process of installing a stereo system. So far I have installed a nice Kenwood DDX514 deck, Polk Audio EX369 6x9" (PPH-300W/CPH-100W) & EX365 6.5" (PPH-180W/CPH-60W) speakers in the factory speaker locations.

I've also picked up some Planet Audio RX2104 10 inch dual voice coil subwoofers (PPH-400W/CPH-200W). I'm also planning on buying the big trunk sub box off Ebay for the subs. I have most of the good wiring, etc as well.

I just took out the entire interior and cleaned and laid down some Dynamat Extreme. (Cleanest floor I've ever seen in my car I have to say! Not a single speck of rust anywhere!) Just have to finish up by putting Dynamat in the doors.

I'd like to stick to the affordable Planet Audio line. I know there's a lot better out there but I'm on a budget. So, at this point I'm looking for some Planet Audio AMPS that will fit well with my speakers and subs. I'm planning on mounting them to the back of my rear seat tops so a 17" width is about the max.

1) What Planet Audio amps do you guys recommend?

2) Will I need a capacitor?

Thanks for all your help. Want to order everything this weekend.

No capacitor, they are only a band aid to fixing the real problem.

Well better battery under the hood, bigger alternator, and the "big 3 upgrade" for starters.

After that you will be adding reserve batteries to make up for the lake of Ah that your planed system will need to achieve full power.

When I do my stereo install in my 94 RT TT I plan on replacing every ground strap with at least 4GA wire if not 0/1 GA. But my system is going to range from either 2000-3700 watts RMS. Could go 6200, but I don't think I want o put that big of a system in my car, slow it down too much.

Three major grounding upgrades:

From battery to chassis
From battery to engine block
From engine block to chassis

typically using 4 GA wire, optimally using 0/1 GA wire

the extra grounding is to ensure that you have a solid ground. Most people that install an aftermarket amp just ground the amp to the chassis of the car. The additional grounding (at least the "big 3") has become the standard in the 12v car audio realm. I don't have the education to back up why, other than reducing the grounds resistane. Just the experience (my own and others) that adding those additional grounds will take care of most dimming light problems as well as most noises like alternator whine.

SPECIFICALLY...

I am looking for advice on which PLANET AUDIO AMPS to get with my components listed above. Which amps will work the BEST?

Here's the Planet Audio webpage:

Thanks.

Sorry know nothing about the line of amps, so the best I could recommend is get an amp that will match up to the RMS wattage of your components.
