Welcome.
The installation of the PC was well done. It looks well planned. Nice job you did!

My first carpc I used a miniITX motherboard and fit all components inside a gutted double din radio. It was pretty tight with all the usb cables, vga cables, etc. At 1.3 Ghz speed was mediocre.
Later I sold it and replaced it with a notebook and have it installed in the trunk underneath the carpet. If you open my trunk you wouldn't know there was anything different because it's all hidden. The plastic tray on the driver's side was replaced custom wood tray to hold the notebook. Heat isn't much of an issue, I only experienced a lock up once after a 3 hour drive in the summer. Easy solution is to flip the carpet partially to allow heat to escape. You might wanna consider using RoadRunner software as your front end, as it's free and makes it look much better. See mp3car.com . p.s. The aerocool panel looks cool. ![]() |
