Default how to hook up two amp?

i bought two ppi art a300.2 and i want to make sure i get this right. i don't want to fry the thing. there is already an existing amp kit and cap hook up in my car. it used to be a 5ch one amp set up. now i am replacing the two small amp for the big one. i am planning on keeping the Cap as well.

so here is what i think i need to do:
from the cap, i run the negative and positive wire into a power distribution block and split it into two two sets of "+" and "-". and from those two sets, i run one set of positive and negative to each amp. The wire going from the Battery to Cap is 4G and from Cap to distribution block is also 4G. and from the distribution block to the amp is going to be 8G(since the amp plug does not fit anything larger than 8G). Is this the right way to do it with the best result? also, how do it split the remote wire?

i am using one amp for jl 12w3 and one amp my mb quart components, if you are wonder what i am hooking these old amp up to.

yes.... and you don't need to split it just "piggyback them" .... run the remote wire to one amp and get another wire and plug it in with it and then run that wire to your second amp...
