Default Door pods for XXX mids

Whats up. This is my first glassing project. Looking to make some small pods for my XXX mids because my door panels leak (all stealths do). and i dont like my shit getting rained on

Also want to up the power handling by going sealed. We'll see how it goes. Any suggestions just let me know. Trying to make this a learning experience.

I didnt get a pic of me taping up the panels because I had no batteries.

passenger side has 3 layers of glass, drivers side has 2. Im giving it another layer then its time for shaping and trimming

side note. Since the mounting depth is so deep, i will have to cut a hole in the middle to make room for the magnet. It will be sealed though.
Updates tonight or later this week.

crap, that explains a problem I'm just starting to have.

I don't suppose anyone would be ballsy enough to unweld the internal door metalwork...that way you could wind the window down and make a fiberbox that actually gives you some internal space etc..

unless they sell them in a 4 inch deep cup, i cant use them. i have seen them though and they are a great idea if the speakers will fit...

and an update...fail on the pods, because the speakers by default are too close to tha dash. i have a rounded over 3/4 inch baffle made out of mdf for now. The mdf is sealed with two coats of sealer to protect it from rain and such. Im taking my chances on the mids getting wet, but dont see much that can be affected right now.
