Angry Car audio Woes

I had been running a nice setup in my 91 SL for a while, but then one day my subwoofer went out, bought a new type R to match my amp, and I just got it all hooked up again today, to watch it play for 5 seconds then my radio shut off, and since it didnt turn back on I went on adventure through my wires to found out the dumbest fix.... my radio power wire, had been run into my brake light fuse under my steering wheel.... I feel society is too lazy for its own good, REGARDLESS I was curious if anybody knew what color the actual battery wire was on the harness. I cant seem to find a good diagram today thanks for the help!

Keep it Classy

Check out Jeff's site for the wiring diagrams for various ecu's. Could tap ignition or +12v there. I'm not sure what you need at this point from your description. Check your fuse boxes for a stereo labelled fuse. - Stealth 316 - ECM pin assignments

The Fuse box has two open taps. (in the Fuse slots) One is full time power. (that's for the radio's yellow wire) then there is an open tap for switched power.
