Last year i bought 2 kicker l5's and since them i have been powering them with a single power acustik 1200 w amp. It's pretty loud, but lets face it its really not true 1200 watts and the subs are 1200 watts each.So im looking at getting another amp so that i will have two power acustik amps, im extremely satisfied with power acustik despite what many people feel. Anyways, I am definitely going to need to get A. a new alternator, or B. another battery. Has anyone ever put another battery perhaps even in the trunk so it makes the weiring easier?Im really a noob when it comes to audio instillation so thanks for the help.

To tell you the truth, a second battery doesnt make wiring easier. You will still have to run power cable to the front to keep it charged, along with a battery isolator. Your best bet would be to get a bigger alternator. Good luck
