which antenna to use with AM unit? - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

Hi,

I am replacing my stock double DIN unit with an aftermarket Pioneer unit. My stock unit has 2 antenna inputs: one on the rear windshield and one for the power antenna. Which one should I use with the new unit? Which one provides better reception? I know that most people keep power antenna, why is that?

i wonder if they make a splitter so you can use both?

im sure the antenna in the rear hatch is for AM and the pw one is FM.
