Thanks Monster, Dave, VinylOrbit.

Dave: yeah drilling the 1/2 inch for the grommet was a pain! thats the reason the door was taken off, i do have pictures of it somewhere...

Vinylorbit: Well i know the HU is not 'all that' but it seemed like a good choice. The only drawback i find is the absence of time alignment. otherwise its pretty functional. Its glossy black finish matched the look and feel of the front too, didnt want much silver shining there hehe.

This setup was actually done five months ago. And now im converting this car into a demo piece for my company, so im planning to re-do the boot again. Everything else remaining same, im planning to have two Image Dynamic Max 10s in the boot with a custom fiberglass enclousre tomake it look a litle jazzy.

Cheers,
Arush

Bumping for other people to see and suggest changes. I plan to add an air ride tank and a nitrous cylinder there... any suggestions on the sub placement?

My personal favorite, and imo functionally superior, HU is the Kenwood Excelon KDC-x879 or x979. Very beautiful graphics, almost 100% adjustable to your likings and a very adjustable interface for the perfect sound. it even has automatic presets depending on the size of the speakers you're adjusting. I love mine. I have the x879 because Ithought for my application the 979 was complete overkill.
