So far I just plan to get a K&N Air Filter Package. I also plan to make my exhaust true dual. I will probably try and get headers and all for the exhaust.

What else is recommended? I am not going to spend that much money on the car and the car has to last for at least 6 years. (no turbos!) Somebody please set me in the right direction.
true dual is worthless for non turbo, and possibly even for turbo. its just added weight. inless you mean dual outlet exhaust, in which case more power to you.

what makes you think turboing it wouldnt last 6 years?

Dual outlet is what I am going to go for. Well, I was just saying I don't want to mod it so much that the life of the engine will be in danger. Also don't want to mod the engine and then have many problems because of it. Plus don't really have thousands of dollars on hand to put into car.

Does anyone know where I can get a 4'' intake adapter? I can't find it anywhere. Its for a 7inch K&N filter with a 4'' opening.

umm, please explain how the maf is ANY sort of restriction on a NA vehicle? (at least any under 450 WHP)

If anything, speed density will make your drivability go down.

EDIT :: not that i don't love my maft-pro.. just that i would not recommend running it in speed density mode for anyone who is not putting down fairly decent numbers.

fine ,since i know little about speed density and those things, but it could be added as a fuel controller or tuning component. I read it was better than the safc, for a little bit more expensive.

This thread was making interesting reading until it broke out into warfare
Interesting 1/4 times and dyno figures from some people with these mods.
Plenty food for thought

A newbie cruising the specific n/a section which is a good idea.

Hello!
