Well, I was hoping to replace it soon. I feel like a dick everytime I'm at a light or just rolling down the street. The gas pedal sticks kinda bad and makes the car jerk all over the place. It's very annoying. You think it might be something else. I don't know much about cars, but thats what my mechanic said it was when I brought it to him.

if the actual peddle is sticking it is probably the cable. If you push in on the peddle and let up and it still takes off, it could injectors that are stuck open. The throttle body just lets air in. It doesn't actully fuel the car to my knowledge.

Default powerstack filters

I found this site. Not sure if it's the same exact one you were talking about, but they have them. http://www.intenseperformance.com
Not sure about the adapter though. I haven't check 3sx yet, but I'll give them a try.

You can send it to Dynamic Racing for one of their N/A upgrades. Only problem is its the 400 hp upgrade which is the last step. They might take it and do the work anyway.

N/A 400 hp upgrade, call and see about the TB

That is the site. To get the adapter you will have to call 3sx. They do not carry them on the website except in their kits. Or you can just check on ebay. Make sure you get the 7" cone filter with a 4.5" connecting end.

As for the Throttle Plate I'm assuming he is talking about the small plate on the throttle cable. It is just behind the intake plenium. A small steel braided wire runs through it. You might check it out and see if there is anything wrong, although I don't know exactly what to tell you to look for.

The throttle body bore from Dynamic Racing is apparently cheaper than the one from GT PRO (Not suprisingly) since the cam regrind from DR is $750 and you get 100 hp Nitrous Jets with the stage upgrade all for $1000. So I'd assume just the bore would be $200 to $150.

Ya, so you think Dynamic Racing is the way to go. I tried 3SX and they don't do it. GT-Pro was like the only one that did it, but then again I never check out D Racing.

perhaps there's a better place for this discussion than at the end of a 14 page 9 month old thread?
