I was looking on the 3sx site...I just need to see if I would need the California one or the General one. I think that it is the CA one, so does that mean that I have to keep the precat? Sounds like it.

Also, does 3sx offer any discounts, etc.?

Thanks again,

Doug

they usually have monthly discounts... it varies from month to month. also, what year is your car? precats are very easy to identify. look at your heat shield and then look straight down. if there is a little bubble/resonator typed looking thing, thats your precat. if you dont have one, you will need a fed spec fp.

Good for you using the search feature instead of starting a stupid new thread. A testpipe is just a short piece of exhaust pipe with flanges on each end that replaces your catalytec converter. Its not street legal, "off road use only". Its a cheap mod that gives a pretty good little boost of power. The stock cat is very restrictive.

There are a couple of people on the board selling them for $35 shipped. If you have access to a welder you can make one for less than $20.

It is going for 40 bucks shipped, but someone has just asked me about buying it, if he decides that he doesn't want it, then its yours
