Saving up the cash and doing the twin turbo setup is the cheapest way to get fast other than nitrous.

Doing all of the bolt ons in the world still wont compete with 6 or 7 psi of boost, and two turbos

But some of the stuff can be use on both like wires and pulleys cat back... So they still are good investments.

I have mixed feelings on the TT drop in on a FWD. I like the concept, but I don't like the traction problems. I've seen first hand the problems that FWD TT's are having keeping their wheels on the ground. I would like to see a les expensive supercharger kit come out. From my understanding, there wouldn't be too much trouble with traction because the power increases as you go faster. So you already have traction by the time it kicks in.

uh... are you sure thats the way a supercharger works? might want to check again if you answered yes to my question.

To quote myself....to my understanding......

It runs off of the engine speed. The faster your engine is turning the faster the sc turns right??

no, the sc makes its boost at a certain rpm and never looks back. this also depends on the type of blower you have... roots or centrifugal...(i think thats how its spelled)

a turbo doesnt reach full boost all at once, a sc does. there is no lag with a sc as in waiting for turbo boost. its just there all at once.

I'm going the route of the supercharger, for one reason, just because less people have it compared to turbos. And also, it may not be cheaper but it's easier to get it in and running (to my knowledge; no cutting, welding, etc.) And I'm pretty sure vr4-wannabe is right, SC make all their boost as soon as the throttle valve is open and the vacum valve is closed. No turbo-lag I just wish someone besides Knight Turbos made SC kits for our cars. Them being the only ones gives them a corner on the market so they can charge anything they want. O well I guess power takes cash.
Just my .02.
