ek2 my friend says he can make me a downpipe for the cost of the pipe. The only problem is he doesnt have a mandrel bender just a regular bender.

If we fill the pipes with sand and do it slow, will one of his downpipes still give me a good gain on hp? The stock ones look like they were bent with no attention to making it smooth.

I think it will end up costing less than 50 if we buy a flex section and a section of 2 inch and 2.5.

What do you think?

You were talking about the diffrences in the pipes one having a scavenger and one not having a scavenger what part is this?

Default sand?

honestly I don't know about that one. good for you for getting it made for 50 bucks though thats good anyhow.

I know some mandrel benders have an insert that goes inside the tube while it bends.......like a series of discs that bend with the tube....I would think sand could hold the form to well but you buddie has the machine so certainly try it.....even of you had 10% deformation it would't hurt MUCH. you could use a nut instead of a bung hole (dont laugh bevis) for the o2 sensor and the flex section could be bought from several sources for about 3540 bucks. The collector is also easy to find.........

I actually delisted myself from this thread to keep the trash out.

I have another mod that will be posted tonight I would guess to say a must for NA's with large injectors...look for it in about 3 hours or so......

I know it is new, but what about a supercharger? I really wanna put one of these in. Would a supercharger bring out the same hp as the turbo if I upgrade everything in the list before that?

the list of parts is extensive for the tt comversion. the test pipe is not one of the things you have to replace, however.

you will have to have the fuel pump, as well as the clutch, ummm... afc, i'm sure there are others. most of the parts won't hurt.

hope this helps, safe travels.

Would you need to lower the compression if you wanted to add turbos or a supercharger? How well does the Venom 400 thingy work? YOGURT how much are you asking for the pipe that replaces the cat(i forgot your technical name for it)?
