ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Lobster boy. You didn't even try to snatch the pebble.
Get some books, read them. Begin with mechanical engineering, then marketing strategies for manufacturing, and be sure to study anti-social behavioral disorders.
I paid dearly for my education, and I wanted to learn. You want to get it for free, and you still don't want to learn.
Ok, you have accomplished one thing that most of us really enjoyed. We all have been laughing for hours at your posts. Wouldn't you rather laugh with us than be the brunt of the joke?
My apologies to the forum and readers of this post. I had assumed it was deemed useless already and Yogurt would start another. I shouldn't have wasted your time with this silly dribble.
And old fart would not be an apt description, if you were referring to my age. My motives were sincere , just misguided. No reason to call me names for defending the facts.
BTW, perhaps the forum could allow a user ID block for the post originators.
OH MY GOD, dude, what the fuck is wrong with you??!?! i leave for work, and i get home and youve made a mockery of my fuckin thread........ youre a dork, youve always been a dork, im SO willing to bet youve never gotten laid. infact, im willing to bet the reason you got the vr-4 was to gain acceptance from the "other kids" who didnt waste their nerdy lives playing dungeons and dragons and beating off to the sears catalog UNTILL THE AGE OF 24! seriously man.... dont you know when to quit?! youve been beaten here.... its like you just keep getting hit by the same truck and are too stupid to move out of the way..... actually i feel kinda bad for you... trying in vein to get your point across... but the fact is dude.... certainly need a 2.5 pipe to a better muffler and get ride of the resonator in between the main cat and muffler.
Its a pity that this quote has turned into a flame war =\ Anyways, I got a question...Ek2mfg stated here to remove the exhaust resonator in order to get beneficial gains. However, I remember reading a post by YOGURT! on custom exhausts that said the pre-muffler and resonator can stay because they are non-restrictive, and that if you remove the exhaust resonator it will sound like shit. Any comments?
Thanks in advance.
the front pipe sucks....we all know it...my front pipe helped the torque curves in the lower end. we (or my car rather) has a main cat...tube-tube-tube....resonator thingy...tube-tube-tube...and 1 big ass double tip muffler.
The reality of it - high flow cat or test pipe...mandrel bent pipe to a good muffler...then a tip for taste of sound. I personally will be getting a high flow cat with mandrel bent tube back to a good muffler then a dual borla square tip...the tip is like 125 bucks but its the only one I like and I want the single out...my twin turbo car when bought will have a dual...that way I can tell them apart when parked in the driveway
those resonators will add turbulance to the flow...loose it!
you can do stainless or steel who really cares? its about the flow increasing not how much you spent. the stock exhaust is oth crushed bent and even formed sheet metal to make a pipe....get under there and look you will see what I mean......either way you go it cant hurt to loose that can....only help.
besies when you stomp on it who wants to hear the belts spin? I want to hear my motor rumble....but not like a civic with a 5 gallon bucket painted with chrome paint more like the first thirty seconds of Van Halens "hot for teacher"....refere to the 1994 album please....you'll get the picture? but then again v-6's never will sound like that but you get my point
