Here Is The Pic.the only spot that was a pain was where the egr and plenum stay bracket are. I found that if you insert the tool and then pull it back a hair you get the extra compression you need,it also helped to work the tool up and down a few times to really get the spring down.hope this helps

so you changed the vss with this tool from ebay with the cams and heads still on? i found the link to the tool on ebay and was thinking of buying to change my vss. also is it worth changing the lifters if mine dont tick at all?

Hi Guys,

Is there anyone that will replace VSS on DOHC for a reasonable price. At one time I saw a post from someone would do it this way for around $300.00 in the Dallas area but can't seem to find that thread.

I need this done (for a reasonable amount) in the Ark, La., Texas area.
