Default Re: How to to modify throttle cable for no cruise control (Dont buy another cable!)-Pics

slightly OT but figured maybe someone in this thread might know the answer... what is the routing like for the non cruise control OEM throttle cable? the reason i ask is, i did the cruise control delete based on this thread a couple of years ago... awesome mod, highly recommended... but then the case around the cable that holds the cable to the plenum broke... no big deal right? WRONG... the stupid little plastic sleeve inside of the casing also broke and keeps sliding down the cable and gets stuck in the throttle lever.

so i ordered Mechanical Catalog - Mitsubishi Throttle cable, 3000 gt, w/o awd, w/o cruise control from mentor mitsu (part # MB539574), thinking it was what i needed... well the thing is like 8 ft long it could wrap around the engine a couple of times on its way from the firewall to the throttle body... did i order the wrong part?

I wouldn't hold your breath for pictures guys. 2mitsus doesn't post anymore.

I did mine without any pics, just followed the write-up.
