That connection doesn't exist on the ECU Diagram in 94-95. But the ACC diagram has it going to pin 40 on C-52 Which is only numbered 1-26. Seeing the parts were from a 92 ACC for the 95RT/TT install and a 93 ACC for the 95SL install, That connection was used in the donor car and not in the 95SL The Connection does exist in the TT ECU. It is part of the high speed relay system for the radiator and condenser fans in the 92 and 93 cars.

BTW upyun we have the parts for a TT conversion on the SL it is an atx.

Hey Dave, I got all the parts for the climate control conversion. I just want to know if I have to remove the whole dash or do I have to remove just the glovebox and the center console.

well today i spent a good amount of time going though my GTO dash harness and removing anything connected to the auto air wiring, after hours of unwrapping electrical tape, sniping wires, studying wiring diagrams and labeling wires i hooked it up to 12 volts and the display lit up and the servos came alive. i just hope the servos will work with the left hand drive HVAC unit (the RHD HVAC unit is a mirror of the LHD HVAC) and that they will move the correct way, and not move in the opposite direction. anyway i like the way the display looks and how the buttons beep when you push them, oh and can't forget the animations. my display shows in celsius though so I'm lost, good thing they put a hot and cold bar to the left for cool people like me that can't read celsius. below are some pics of it under my grandmas hood, i needed the battery (Alan will know what it is)

Good Job looks like you are on your way!

Just for a point of reference what are all the part numbers on the:

Display
Auto AC Controller
Right Motor
Center Motor
Left Motor
Controller Comp

Maybe we can figure out this celsius display (if it has a specific part #)
Also what year was the donor car?

Dave

Display -------------- MB898523
Auto AC Controller --- MB897173
Right Motor ---------- MB609564 <---RECIRCULATE/FRESH AIR (in RHD this is the left motor)
Center Motor -------- MB657287
Left Motor ----------- MB439074 <---NEAR STEERING COLUMN (in RHD this is the right motor)
Controller Comp ------ MB897122N

I've narrowed the cars year down to a 91 or 92, 1990s did not have power folding mirrors (mine does) and second gens came into play in 93 (mine had pop up headlights and no passenger air bag), I'm speaking of GTOs for those who are confused. i also just noticed that i have a 3 position switch at the top of my display, and on my auto a/c controller i have a hole where i can adjust something called EVA, counter clockwise is L, and clockwise is h.

-------------------Right hand drive-----93 RT/TT (The last donor car)

Display -------------- MB898523-------- MB898523
Auto AC Controller --- MB897173-------- MB897174
Right Motor ---------- MB609564 <---RECIRCULATE/FRESH AIR (in RHD this is the left motor)
----------------------------------------MB439125
Center Motor -------- MB657287-------- MB657209
Left Motor ----------- MB439074 <---NEAR STEERING COLUMN (in RHD this is the right motor)
----------------------------------------MB439123
Controller Comp ------ MB897122N-------MB897122 (not changed in CCC)

Caps shows 90.5 and some 91 cars as having different displays and auto controllers. After 91 they are the same until 98. It looks like the Auto AC Controller --- MB897173 is the celsius controller as the display is the same. Hopefully the sensors are the same. They could be checked with an ohm meter.
It doesn't look like the motors work.
I hear that there is a 91 display that is not as bright????

Ahh, can you post a pic of it installed please, just cause I want to see how cool that painted panel would look in the car... and since I don't have an electronic control, does the bands in the icons move or are they still?
