I'm having trouble with the blower motor wiring in a 99' SL. Everything else is working fine but the blower will only function on high. What did I do wrong?

sounds like a power transistor issue. it's the piece that goes into the heat/ ac duct box. it has a 4 pin plug on one side and a metal/ ceramic piece on the other side. did u replace it when doing the conversion?

I did change out the power transistor and i reused the ground wire that that the old one used. Should i have ran a new ground?

Yep. Power transistor just needed a new ground. But now i'm having trouble with the Mode selector Servo.(far left) i'm getting power to it but it keeps setting itself to the dash vents no matter what i set it to with the control panel. i set it to something manually, with the power off, but as soon as I turn the ignition on it turns to the dash vents.

This is why you buy a kit

When you dissect a harness you break a few circuits besides the photo and room temp sensors. You need to run all the ground wires you cut to a new ground wire then put a connector on it and ground it. The switch on the top of the display also affects mode settings. The display will remember the settings it was on before being turned off too.

A kit would have been nice I just happened to know somebody who had a 93 SL and practically gave me the DCC.

I am number three for a RT to have the DCCC completed in.
I must say after all the time and energy I have put into this I am now thinking I should have just bought the kit directly from Dave, However if it wasnt for Dave's help on some of the parts I got stuck at I wouldn't be done now.
I didn't keep track of the amount of time I spent but it was a lot.

All for vanity...
