Great write up - makes me want to spend some more money into this car. Also, (I know its been roughly 6 months) but hopefully you found out that the door inserts would need to be purchased somewhere else - or as a set amount of vinyl/leather/suede (from leatherseats.com) that you can cut and put on. There are some people on here who custom stitch inserts/headrests etc... Take a look and you can find em here. I had some black leather inserts made with silver stitching "3000GT VR4". Looks good - now I just need matching seats.

They may have just done that as a courtesy, but I'm sure if you ask you can buy it, or have it included, I'm not sure exactly what the deal is

Sad to say, the side bolsters wear like the stock seats....

Well, they aren't going to last forever, especially if you're the type to slide in on them instead of taking care to sit down without rubbing your whole side, jeans, metal tabs, etc against it. That will make leather last that much longer.

That said, I have had mine for some time now and I havent noticed anything.

Nice installation guide. Now I know where to go if I ever decide to get new leather seat covers.

Yeah, you have to do what I've heard someone call the "Ferrari ingress". You have to sit down on the seat sideways and then swing your legs into the car as opposed to stepping into the car and then sitting down. You'll save a lot of wear on the side bolsters once you get used to getting in the car that way.

Great writeup! I've been looking for the installation video mentioned on the first page but do not see the link. Was it removed or can anyone post it on youtube or something?
