Some noob type questions for you guys:

1. I currently run my LC-1 wideband into the scanmaster by means of a 3.5mm stereo jack. Does this mean I am already using the EGRT input or can I go ahead and connect a MAP sensor to the extra EGRT input?

2. I have a Blitz DSBC. Is there a way to tap into the electronic boost gauge of boost controller and wire it into the EGRT?

Thanks.

Declan

Kindly take the time to carefully read page 1 of this thread which describes hooking up devices to EGRT input.

Maybe I should have rephrased my question a bit better. Here it goes:

If I have my wideband plugged into the 3.5mm external analog signal stereo jack, does the Scanmaster output it to MMCd via the unused "EGRT output"? What I'm worried about is that if I get everything wired up, only to realize that the Scanmaster is pushing out two signals on one channel, so to speak.

Edit: After reading the scanmaster manual, I have come to realize that this will not be a problem so long as "data substitution" is used.

As far as hooking up the Blitz DSBC map sensor to the EGRT input is concerned, has anybody done this and does anybody know what kind of map sensor is used in the Blitz DSBC?

wow this may actually be an answer to the question that has been plaguing me all day *runs to look at scanmaster manual*

i am using my egrt to log boost. i am trying to get mmcd to see the lm-1 signal being fed into my scanmaster. be back with an update

doctordex if you'd care to follow up with how things worked out for you it'd be appreciated
