my local muffler shop would do a catback 3" piping for $225 + 2 megan mufflers off ebay $100 shipped + cacto hi-flo cat $50 3"to3"(highest flow allowed legally) shipped+any downpipe of your chosing $150-$350.....hmm....$750 total tops.
he shouldve shopped around. im like any other 3/s member, cheap as hell, i always look for the best and cheapest way to get things done. |

Just wondering if anyone knows why there is a flex section coming off the front turbo. As far as I can tell it has no need for it there. Once bolted the entire unit is rigid up until the main flex before the cat? I am making one up that is why I ask. Thanks for any help.

Just so everyone knows, ther is no way in hell that our Muffler shop is gonna give you a TRUE 3" exhaust for 225.00 There arent many Muffler shops in the US alone that have a Mandrel bender, and that makes the 3" piping true. A crush or crimp bender makes the pipe 2" in any bends killing the flow and prettymuch making the 3" piping useless. If thats Mandrel bent then its a great price but I honestly doubt it. Also DN's kit is something like 899-999 for Downpipe and exhaust turbo back w/ flex sections, polished and pretty. LOL Anyway not trying to be a dick but I think any muffler shop wont have a chance against something like DN, HKS, Greddy or a company like that even if it is a great price just due to the fact that they cant do stainless for that, or mandrel for that. Just my 2cent. And again Im not trying to churn the shit pot, I just looked into making custom exhaust to sell here to everyone and the prices got STEEP after you accounted for everything, even if you use a shitty off brand muffler from Ebay. Anywho later guys
