We have been using the EXEDY performance clutches on various applications for some time now. This seems to be the best quality clutch on the market with many options depending on your driving style and engine performance modifications from stock. They are the only company that we have found that builds a clutch that is specifically made for each application. I have noticed that ACT,Centerforce and SPEC use the regular OE pressure plate from Daikin or Exedy and modify it. We kept noticing the Daikin logo stamped on their product underneath the ACT or Centerforce sticker. Their was a question in an earlier post about solid vs sprung center hub discs. The sprung center hub will run quieter with less chatter. The solid center hub is more for racing. Many racers use multiplate twin and triple disc set ups. Many of these are solid center hubs. The multi disc set up allows some give rather than ripping the center out and they can handle the heat better.
We have run both the Exedy Stage 1 organic and the Stage 2 cerametalic with great results. They seem to hold up and last with abuse as well.
Has anyone else had similar results with the EXEDY product?

We have been involved in race media and marketing for some time now. I go to the shows and races and see all of the manufacturers. There must be 20 different clutch suppliers alone.
I don't know anything about RPS other than they appear to be using the OE Daikin pressure plate and modifing it. Almost all of the suppliers just take a OE clutch and modify it and put their name on it.

Got them in stock BTW.

Thanks,

There's only one clutch that I will ever run and thats the spec III from 3sx. I've felt rps and all those others, but dind't like them. My clutch also feels just like the stock clutch. I'm really not a good judge at that though since I have pretty strong legs from the get go.

Picked up my car last night from the rebuild. Man, the pedal feel is just like stock BUT it engages much sharper. Does the stage 3 soften up as far as engagement/slipping ability for city driving? Can't wait to get it broke in so I can lauch!
