finished the install of the stage II today thanks to seth (toddrs93 -- great guy btw, very knowledgeable and awesome prices!!)... its f*n smoother than stock!!!! havent even broken it in yet, can't wait to put those miles on and really see how it holds!
btw i was told the fidanza would take some getting used to.... not at ALL.... it honestly took 1/2 a second to relearn driving my car, and that was because the car revved much faster than i was used to thanks to the fidanza. all in all, very, VERY impressed!

for those of you with the spec stage II or III clutches, as well as any southbend clutches, what's the life expectancy of them? i'm debating on which one to buy.

Got a Spec stage 2 and a Spec flywheel on its way!!
for only a little over $600 total. I chose not to go 6 puck this time, I know they may hold more tourqe but just don't seem to last as long in a daily driver dispite what the manufacturers say. I figure a kevlar full faced disk with a 2700 lb pressure plate should work pretty well and last for a long time. |

The shop I work for Inphase Audio has an account with MVP motorsports, through them I get a 25% discount on Spec, $499 for the clutch, $429 for the flywheel - 25% = $696, I guess a little close to $700, but still a good deal

I know its a different brand but i threw a centerforce dual friction and a new OEM flywheel in my FWD when she was around 85,000 miles old and shes up to 126,000 and the clutch is still bitting hard and is very stop and go traffic friendly. So if the centerforce clutch's holding pressure is comparable or not i can't say but i have no gripes and it's been lasting me a good long time and doesn't really show any signs of giving up.
