is there really such a thing as a bad quality mbc? i mean you can make them out of fish tank parts. yet as i scroll thru ebay i see all kind of writeups and $100 mbc. i think they're just preying on the ignorant. but maybe i'm the one who is? i'm gonna buy an ebay one that comes in any choice anodized color for like $12-15 but i just wanted to make sure that they are in fact ALL the same.... too bad they don't have a psi read out on the knob. (like an electric stove top. 1-8 setting with notches for each one) ....or do they?

I wanted an EBC.. Why? Because I hear horror stories about the spike people get from MBC's. If this mbc is as good as you guys say it is I'm gonna buy one this week.

The one I got off ebay looks just like that one too. It's been working great for me for about 2 months. I have it set between 13-14psi. Occasionally it will spike 1 or 2 psi above that if I mash the gas really good in those prime boost-making rpm's.

Since there is a void in the community now.....i am now making Manual boost controllers. These are a far superior controller than the proboost ones, and any other boost controller i have seen on ebay. You need no tools to adjust them and they have a dual stainless steel ball bearing design and fine thread screw ,for super precise boost control. I have them now in blue anodized temp resistant paint, as well as unpainted. check my sig for info. there will be a post for group buy coming in the next week!!!

How do you adjust the boost? I don't see a knob or screw. I am looking to increase mine to 13 psi. (car had been stolen and ripped apart so it is currently back to stock for now, I just want a little more boost)

The end with the locknut on the shaft, that part turns in and out.
