ProBoost MBC is no more. Found a Successor... - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

I have always been using the ProBoost MBC, and it has always worked nicely, until one day it decided to burst its internals out, despite the fact I tightened it down. Long story short, I was running an open wastegate without warning, so I needed a new boost controller.

I think, no big deal, Proboost has a lifetime warranty, but when I came online I found that Proboost MBC's website was down, so I email boostedzx and waited a few days, no response, then I PM'd him, no response. That was about 3 weeks ago, so I think it's safe to say he's done with Proboost MBC.

Suddenly I want to go with an EBC, but remind myself that that is $300-400 dollars that could go towards my 15G's + supporting mods, so I go on eBay to try to find a different MBC.

Bingo, looks real nice from the picture (as opposed to the Proboost, which came with white sticky paper all over it), and is inexpensive. So I go ahead and buy it, shipped fast, and installed it. Works like a charm, and comes with good instructions for those who need it.

No, holds boost perfectly, even in the cold weather.

I can also vouch for this guys MBC's. They're cheaper and better quality than the Proboost one.

Is this the same size as proboost? a 4mm or 6mm, I dont remember which one it was.

not only is proboost gone, but if you look at his feedback on ebay, its hoorrible...looks like they may have stiffed quite alot of people at the end. tons of bad feedback.

Hey I finally got a chance to install the MBC that you are looking at.
It works just fine.

Go for it.

i bought mine from ebay it also worked out very well....no spikes....holds boost.....no problems...

I will be making and supplying MBC'S in the coming days, as soon as i get all of the supplies in. I am doing some more research as we speak to find the best combination of spring rates, parts, etc.
Keep an eye out
