I've been looking at these and poly motor mounts. Are there any other negatives to solids other than the extra vibration?

I just put these on my car and they're awesome. One of the best things about them is there's no more wheel hop!

I am interested in the tranny and drivers side solid mounts, trying to do as much to my drivetrain as I can so It doesn't go boom. Two questions, how does the solid nature strengthen the tranny since there is no give or take with these. I'm still learning on this stuff, and also, has anyone had any experience with the tranny/drivers side solid mounts?

The main advantage with the tranny is that the drivetrain doesn't bounce around compared to the wheels which puts less sress on everything. Going with all 4 will make that much more of a difference compared to just the sides...the Front and Rear are actually the most important ones since that's where the most stress is put.

The only one you can see is the driver's side mount without stripping things out of the engine bay or crawling under the car.

I can take a pic if you really want.

Or, here's a pic of them on my floor!

The cabin "thrums" with the engine. A stock cabin is silent, while a cabin with solid mounts sounds like you're sitting in a car with some grunt.

Probably the same with polys.

The only thing I can compare it to is a a muscle car.
